Gabion1.com and David were very responsive. I wanted a size that wasn’t listed, and sent a query, it turns out they had more sizes, and I got just what I wanted. I built a small landscape retainer for a young olive tree on a bank. The parts came right away, the rock amounts to order were just right, and I was able to build it in about a week by myself with granite rocks for sides and small granite for center. The helical wires allowed me to tie the sections together, and it’s holding very well after a month. As this is out in my front yard it’s very visible, and I’m getting lots of compliments.

Gabion1 website and customer service is excellent and all of my questions were.answered very quickly. .The product is also very well engineered and goes together quickly to form a very strong wall system that I was able to build for about half the cost of stacked block.

I found the website very easy to navigate, and my pricing inquiries were answered promptly. I ordered 12 feet of baskets, and was impressed with the quality, the ease of assembly and the final appearance when filled with the stones that I hand selected. I will definitely contact Gabion 1 again if I ever have another project requiring gabion baskets.

Excellent service. Very responsive to initial query and completion of order. Good communication from staff about delivery and subsequent queries. And from a man who has historically struggled with ikea kits very simple to assemble. Would recommend to anybody

For my retaining wall I opted for the 1/8th wire to keep costs down slightly, but in hindsight i think 3/16th would have been the better choice for my requirements. My wall was simply to replace to the old timber holding back some earth. We hand a lot of large stone in the garden which i used to fill the cages, this ended up more of a contained dry stone wall rather then a simple back fill of loose aggregate. All in all i’m happy with the outcome and will defiantly choose Gabion1 for my next project.

I would happily recommend Gabion1 to anyone looking for gabions. All round top class service provided and a great product.

Really easy to put together and very attractive when done. The Gabions we have put in around our somewhat sloping section have contributed greatly to the usefulness of the land area we have, and the attractiveness of the property. Shipping has been prompt with the orders we have made to date. Highly recommend Gabion1.

My husband and I picked gabion walls because we needed to construct a large retaining wall and wanted to save ourselves as much money as we possibly could! I am absolutely amazed at the final result and service provided by Gabiob1. I would recommend anyone who’s up for a bit of hard work to do it! Bianca Jonson
